About

I’ve always been a big reader, with a specific love for fantasy novels. What I found so compelling about fantasy was the world building and jumping into something entirely creative. This led me to pursue my design minor, with a specific focus in human computer interaction, at the Sam Fox School of Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis.

I’m pursuing a unique combination of majors at WashU with majors in Computer Science, Economics and Entrepreneurship. I’ve always been a proponent of interdisciplinary education, as it’s clear to me that the nexus between disciplines is where innovation thrives.

My professional areas of interest include (but are not limited to) product management, product design, and UX design.

Aside from reading fantasy novels, I’m personally interested in playing board games, specifically Settlers of Catan, and travelling.

Feel free to reach out to me about anything, whether it’s something professional or a new book you read, at ellianamak@gmail.com or contact me through the site here.
